I’ve tried several times to price match at walmart and it is alwys such a huge hassle. The employees are clueless on the price match policy and coupon policy and lets not forget how rude they are. I tried to get the Honey bunches of oats today and first the cashier said they couldn’t price match BOGO, he got someone else and she said he could do it, then when I gave him the coupons he said he couldn’t take them. For being the largest retailer in the world you would think they would spend a little more time and $$ on training. I give up and I’m going back to Publix.
The easiest thing to do with a BOGO is break it down per item price. For example Buy one @ $5.00 and get one free. I tell the cashier each one is $2.50. I’ve always have done it this way and never have had a problem.
