PLUS, found a peelie on the rice krispies that gave me TWO free bags of marshmellows! (would be 3.00)
Before coupons and price matches grand total would have been=388.75
I had two complete carts filled (with no help)—and was at the store for almost 3 hours.
My total? 149.67 after price matching and coupons.
A huge haul, and I had some gift cards that made it even cheaper for me!
wow I wished I could do that
You really can! I promise! It takes hard work and dedication!
Nice Job! && Paul – Thanks for all the time you put into this site! <3 it 🙂
That is great. You do couponing the way it should be done. Keep up the good work.
Oopsie! I dont know how I forgot to include my name in the email I sent you! Probably just exhausted from this trip last night, haha! This was my haul 🙂 Done in Chicago, IL 🙂 Im the same one who found the Alba lipgloss for .10 a few weeks ago! I am having great luck with Walmart lately!
My three year old helped me arrange all the stuff to show you guys, so thought Id give a shout out for all of her help! (thanks Rayna!)—-(cause being my daughter, she is so brilliant she can read and regularly browses the iheartthemart website at 3 years old….)
i am green with envy melani…but u did an awesome job getting them all…wonderful stockpile here i am sure..
Would love to know who you price matched. I have yet to jump aboard the price matching train, but it looks like you did great! I find most stores that people price match are not in my area 🙁
I live in Indiana and we have Kroger, Marsh, Meijer, Super K, and Super Walmart.
I am working on getting someone to do Meijer and is SuperK a Kmart?
Dealseekingmom.com does the Meijer deals! Heres the link: http://dealseekingmom.com/tag/meijer-deals/
Yes it is 🙂
That’s awesome!!! Wish my walmart was coupon friendly!!!
You did a great job and came out on top with all that stuff with that price. Congrats to you! I try to do stuff like that but it’s alittle harder for me in the cash department since I’m not working right now but I still catch the deals here and there when I can. Again great job
I would love to know where you price matched the Hefty plates to?
a store called Ultra Foods…..
believe me, Ive gone to this same Walmart and had it not be coupon friendly! The right cashier makes all the difference—-alot of the deals that I price matched were from a store called Food For Less–which is a Kroger store.
Maybe I skipped through it but what about the gain detergent? Awesome job by the way!!
Come to the Haywood County Brain Gym Coupon Club Tuesday and Thursday and be able to save even more money. Call 452-6789 to reserve a seat at the coupon table.
Question, Melani- when you go up to the cashier, exactly what do you tell them about your coupons and price matching? DO you say “I have price matches on most of these items,” then pull out your ads, or how is this done? I am going to try it out soon!!! I heard the other day someone wouldn’t do it for a cashier and the ad was on their in store TV!!!!
Some of them recognize me, so they already know…but if not, yes, I tell them that I am price matching. I try to organize the price matches first–sometimes they want to see the ad, sometimes they dont..
