So is everyone ready for Brown Thursday and Black Friday this year? I wanted share some information and a few tips to help you have the best Black Friday Ever!!
1. Plan, Plan Plan!
- Do your homework and know what you are shopping for.
- Make sure you bring your competitor ads that you are going to price match with.
- Do not listen to the nonsense that Walmart doesn’t Price Match Black Friday Ads, it is right on the cover of the Walmart Black Friday Ad
- Know your store rules and find out from Walmart Management. No, not a CSM. The two Walmart stores closest to me are price matching online ads. I strongly advise printing these out and taking them with you, even if you have to screen shot it.
- Make sure you to stay in your budget and don’t get caught up in all the excitement.
2. LEAVE THE KIDS AT HOME!
- Kids Bring too many other emotions into Christmas Shopping.
- You want to get them what they want and you can’t always get it, it is very emotional
- They get tired and cranky
- That makes you tired and cranky
3. Get Comfy!
- I don’t mean house slippers and PJ’s. Wear comfortable supportive shoes that you can stand up in for hours.
- Bring something to sit on
- Bring Snacks and Something to Drink- Something Unleaded we don’t need beer muscles on Black Friday! 🙂
4. Bring a Friend!
- No One wants to shop alone, if you go alone find a friend there! Yes, I mean meet new people.
- Divide and Conquer- especially if you are after more than one of the HOT items
- Make sure your cell phones or walkie talkies (advised if you have them) are FULLY CHARGED
5. Be Patient!
- Times are hard and everyone wants a great deal, nothing is worth the nonsense we saw last year.
- This is not your only chance to score a great deal- I will have all kinds of hot online deals for you!
- You can fill out the Santa’s Helper Form in the side bar if you have a specific item you want me to help find for you!

Paul, always gratefull for your blog my ? i want to pm a tv bf walmart.com says layaway will be open limitied hrs on bf can i put the tv in layaway at the pmd blackfriday price? how bout my other bf buys at walmart are they eligible for layaway? thanks!
it will depend on your store. If you put them on layaway before BF you will have to close out and pay for it in full on BF. If you are able to put items on Layaway during black friday (doubtful) then you will have to pay them off at the end of the Layaway period.
WHAT TIME DO ONLINE DEALS BEGIN?
There are great online deals going on now. The buzz is that Black friday will open early online, but no one knows what time for sure.
also remember folks, be nice to the cashiers, and employees in the stores. i know they say some volunteered to work, but some didn’t and really aren’t happy about missing time with family. they will be tired, etc. so smile, thank them and may all have a safe and wonderful thanksgiving and black friday.
