The Walmart Black Friday Maps are now Available on Walmart.com!
Everyone is excited about Black Friday at Walmart. I am going to give you as much information as I can to make it as smooth as I can for you. This should answer most of your questions.The three biggest questions that I am being asked are:
1. Will Walmart Price Match other Stores Black Friday Ads?
A: YESSSSSSS! WOOOHOOOOO!. They will match any competitors PRINTED Black Friday Ads. Christmas just got better didn’t it! Because they are Ad Matching black Friday the Gift Card Back Price Match Promotion does not apply for Black Friday. If you missed it on Black Friday, you just miss it.
2. Can I put my Black Friday Items on Layaway?
A: Sorry, No.
3. Do they have Black Friday Store Maps Available?
A: Yes they do, or will (not available yet)! To find your Walmart store’s printable Black Friday map, go to Walmart.com. The Black Friday advertisement for Walmart’s in-store specials includes a link to plan your shopping experience. Click “Go” and Walmart will ask you to enter your zip code, to locate your nearest Walmart’s Black Friday ad and store map.

I can’t seem to see the ad good enough to get specifics about a printer. I searched the HP DJ 3051A 3-in-1 Wireless Printer, – $39.00 .. can’t seem to find any info on it. I was wondering if it is one of the HPs that has E-print. I searched the model number and just find that it’s part of Walmart’s Black Friday sale lol
So last night when i was in wal-mart, I was thinking- well so if I would buy these things I see on the Black Friday ad NOW, will they give me the money back later b/c of the sale- like most places if you buy something a day early and it goes on sale the next day and you missed it then they will refund you the price. Or is this just a- if you dont get it you dont get it deal?
The items in the Black Friday ad (aka blitz items)have special bar codes that ring up for the sale price. Other items might look the same, but the bar code will not be the same as the ones that are being sold at special prices on Black Friday. Also, all the items with the Black Friday bar code will sell at the sale price, no matter when they are purched..they are “while supplies last”- so if you buy the sale item at midnight, or manage to find one at 5 pm the next day, if it has the sale code,it would still come up at the lower price.
I went to Walmart yesterday to look at the hinged chest they have in the ad and they had the sale price on it!! But, sadly when I took it to the front the computer said restricted sale or something like that. 🙁 I was bummed, but I liked it so I’ll just have to get it on black Friday 🙂

I have a new question- how does this work?
My store is a 24 hour store- when do they put these things out? Are the doors locked so we cannot get in them before that time? Then how do they do the transition between the 10:00 sale to the 12:00 sale? They will still have people in the store? Is there going to be designated lines for each product?
I Worked at a 24 hr walmart and what they do is pull all the freight to the floor but they leave it wrapped and right before its time they cut it off and let you grab for it ..I ve seen people hold their hands on tv for hours …just so they can grab it .. So they let the customers come in but they don’t let them touch it …yes the associate gaurd them ..lol
Our Walmart makes you stand in line to get a number and at 1200 you can get the tv
From my experience from last year on the big ticket items they now have limited tickets that they give people and if you don’t have one then your out of luck.Good luck! This will be my fourth year going and I think I mainly go for the items as well as the rush it gives you! lol
Crud! I bought that Harry Potter lego wii game last week! If I take it back in on black friday to customer service can I “return” it and then repay for it then at the lower price?
no when you return it the item will just go back to the sales floor.
Last year I looked at the preview ad bought everything that week before black friday and was able to get the price difference. I was great no lines for returns.
It seems like most of the deals in the ad are for the 10pm and 12pm sales Thanksgiving day. What’s going on sale at 8am on Black Friday? Am I missing some deals?

Most of the items have a special black friday SKU. I know that last year they had the small Black and Decker handheld vacuums. The ones on the shelf that they sell everyday had a different SKU than the black friday special. So this stops ppl from buying them early and returning it.
Has anyone heard if the items in the ad can be purchased online for the same price on Black Friday? I just wrote them to ask but I hardly ever get a response from Walmart. If by chance they do write back before I get an answer here I’ll let yall know.
Well surprisingly I got an answer and on the same day I asked! Wow Walmart is on the ball all of a sudden. Unfortunitly all they told me is that they wont be releasing that info until the week of Thanksgiving 🙁
I think I know the answer to this but I’m going to ask anyway…if I buy an item now that I know will be in someone else’s ad (say Target) can I go back during Black Friday to customer service and get the price guarantee difference on a gift card? Or does that not work on Black Friday? Anyone?
i would assume that you could save some trouble and just price match it at walmart that day, since it sounds like you would be going there to get the difference anyway.
I can not get the map to show up. Is anyone else having the same problem? When I type in my zip I get the ad preview, but it won’t let me see a map of where all the deals will be located. Any hints on how to get this to work?
Ok so this is my first year with Wal Mart Black Friday and I am going for the XBox with the $50 gift card. 2 Questions for anyone willing to ans. 1. How insane has your experience been? Like shouldI get ther at 9pm or is that too late? lol and 2. when or how will I get the gift card? Is it like a rebate where I need to send in for it? Thank you so much 🙂 Happy shopping
Speaking from experience, the gift card is activated at the registe rwhen the item is purchased. The customer receives the gift card that is worth $50. And yes, it’s insane. Not sure what time the item is going on sale, but they will be brought out on a pallet (or in a cart- depending on how many there are). The distribution system depends on the store. Mosty 24 hour stores will give out numbers, and customers get those on a first come first serve basis, and then they can walk around the store or, I suppose, leave and come back. But as far as the time to get there, I guess it depends on the opening time of the store, and how badly you want the item. If the store is closed, you’ll be waiting outside and I don’t know if they give out tickets in those cases.

How can I find out if my local Walmart will have the 40″ Emerson flat screen TV as advertised in the black Friday flyer?
So Target has a doorbuster for the XBox wireless controller for 39.00 and they have a $10.00 off coupon on their website. Will Walmart honor both the ad price and the coupon or do I have to rush from one store to the other?
They will accept the coupon if you print it off, also bring the printed Target ad to match the price.
I don’t think Walmart will accept a coupon for a dollar amount off an item. The coupon has to show a specific price.
I was trying to find the store map for the black friday sale…is it on the website yet? I just recieved the ad in the paper today and it states to go to walmart.com but I can’t find it. Help please.

The manager at the store I shop at (Acworth, GA) said he would honor the target ad and give me the gift card.
I’m on the phone with the walmart in concord and the manager is telling me that they wil not open the layaway until black friday is over and they are not price matching other black friday items.help not sure what to do?
They will not do layaway on black Friday, but they will price match printed ads.
If anyone is looking for the Skylanders video game going on sale for black Friday at 49.99, Target is selling it at that price all week. I picked that up yesterday for a price match, one less thing I need to get for Thursday night sales, yay!
How early should I start waiting outside? This will be my first time doing Black Friday Sales, Ive only seen how hectic it is on tv and how people wait hours before the store opens. I was wondering if anyone with experience on here, can tell me how early you can go? For ex. Walmarts says 10pm Thurs for certain item and 12 am for electronics!
I think it depends most on where you live. Black Friday shopping is busy no matter where you go. I was pretty surprised to see how busy some stores can be when I was watching crazy black friday shoppers on youtube lol. If you don’t live in a major city like New York then you should be ok. First check and see if your Walmart is open on Thanksgiving. Our Walmart is open so people get there about 1 hour before the sale starts (unless u are waiting for electronics get there 3-4 hrs early). They are not waiting outside in a line so the frenzy isn’t as bad. I’ve also been to a Walmart where you do wait outside. If this is the case I would get there 2-3 hours early. Your best bet is to take a ride over to Walmart (if u live close by) and scope out the parking lot around 6 or 7 pm if it doesn’t look busy go back around 8 and stay to play it safe.
Can I use the $1.50 off printable coupon rubbermaid Glass with easy find lids on the Rubbermaid 30 pc set of easy find lids for $ 6.88? That would make it a even better deal!

I can find anything “official” in writing that Walmart will price match on Black Friday, but it’s all over the blogosphere. My local Walmart store told one of my friends that they will NOT price match Black Friday ads. (I have not confirmed this) Is there something from Walmart Corporate to confirm that they will indeed price match Black Friday Ads?

Paul- the online sell I guess starts at 10 pm- 12 am and 5 what time zone? I mean if I am in a earlier zone they will be sold out quickly so I will be out of luck. I have looked but just see the time but dont know what time zone they go by. Thanks for your help- trying to stay out of stores that day- 1st time in 20 yrs.
