This morning I got an email about my camera/case from Walmart. They are basically saying “Uncle”, they aren’t going to fulfill the order but they are letting me keep the cases and returning all of the money. In addition they are sending a $10 eGift Card. It’s clearly not the same as getting an $80 camera for $4, but it is better than them opting to pull policy on this.
I have scored some AMAZING deals from Walmart.com that may or may not have been errors. Last year I got a $130 pack and play for only $13. I know some of you called in and the operator was like, “I don’t know why you thought you would get a camera for $4?” That makes me laugh, because I have totally gotten those deals before from Walmart! Whatever the glitch is their system I am sure at some point they will figure it out. Did you get the same email? Here is a copy of mine:

I got the same general e-mail about the vacuum bundle they had this weekend it was 14.99 for the vacuum when I put it in my cart and I upgraded it to include the most expensive attachment (and was willing to pay the added amount) and when my daughter went to pick it up only the attachment was there to be picked up. Called them and spoke to one person and she said my daughter could return the item (which is selling for $27 on the website right now) and get a refund of my money. I ended up asking for a supervisor and she is the one who said they are giving me back my money as a credit to my card of the almost $26 and are also giving me the attachment and the $10 gift card. They said their system is having a problem with the bundles. So when all is said and done they paid me $36 to take a $27 item out of their stock. I know it is silly way to look at it but I am happy with the final results. I think they need to get things fixed. But until then I will be happy to take advantage of this type of situation again.
I had ordered the vacuum cleaner deal so it looks like I get the stick vac for free plus $10 egift card!!!
I got the same one yesterday for a Crayola bundle that was $1!!!
I received my markers for the Crayola $1 bundle yesterday (which I only ordered it the day before, so that was ridiculously fast). They emailed to say I couldn’t get the rest and they would give me a $10 gift card as well as a refund. So I end up with $10 and 4 free packs of markers. Not bad! I like that better than the deal I was getting! 😉
No, I did not receive the same e-mail. Mine stated Walmart cancelled the order because of a technical error. No mention of a free case or a $10 ecard. Walmart should have treated each of us who ordered this bundle the same. Nuts.
Yes, I got the same email and I had a memory card along with the case in mine so it will be the case and card free and additional $10 gift card. I had never seen these deals at walmart before and when I went in to order the bundle it was not clear that the camera came with it as it only listed the case and the card. But if you searched on the camera outside of the link on this site then it did say the camera and case in the first page so I printed that out figuring there would be trouble getting them to acknowledge the camera was supposed to be in it. But this solution works well lol.
