i thought walmart doesn’t do b1g1 price matches

I’m confused, if one is $1.79 wouldn’t that make them .89 each? Are you taking $1.79 – $1.60 = .19 divided by 2? Will they do that?
Sandy, the price is $1.79 for 2 boxes. Subtract the $1.60 and you have $.19 for both. I guess I should have said $.10 each

there was a coupon for $1.60 off. it is no longer available. The BOGO was a sale not a coupon. I hope that helps!
lf the coupon automatically rings up as -$1.60 then it makes sense, however if it rings up like several BOGO coupons do, they have to input the price of the item – which in this case is $.89. Since this coupon printed without the ‘price’ box for the cashier to write the amount, I would assume it automatically rings in at the $1.60 off price.
I am not understanding this deal, does Walgreens have the coupon policy Rite Aid used to have? I checked out their policy and it said “When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.” Does Walmart price match according to the specific retailers coupon policy? In this case, Walgreens? I want to Pricematch @ Walmart but will they let me use a B1G1 free coupon along with the sale price of B1G1 also? Thanks so much 🙂
Walmart ad matches the sale. when Walmart Price Matches a BOGO Sale they place half the price on either item. This allows a Bogo coupon to be used.
