I didn’t know there was an actual clearance isle. I will have to look next time im in my walmart
I have been noticing that in the so called “clearance isle” at my walmart isn’t clearanced AT ALL. They will have the red stickers marked on there, but they don’t have what the old price was and I will go look at what the retail price is on the item and it is the SAME. I love how they try to scam people to think they are getting a good deal. The only true things that are clearanced are damaged items.
Kaesi….I completely agree with you. I wonder why they are advertising Blue Belle ice cream this week for $5.25, like it’s a good thing. Do people really believe this? I’ve never paid more than $3.99 for it. I noticed panties at Walmart…the SAME price as Victoria’s Secret…and I got a $10 “secret” card at VS to use on a future purchase!
Walmart doesn’t offer loyal customer perks at all. CVS showers me with perks and I keep going back and they know it….they send me coupons for $5 off a $30 purchase, and today I got a coupon for a free lotion from the red machine. The Beauty Club pays you $5 for every $50. They give you $1 ECB for every 2 Rxs. They also will pay you 2% back on your purchases quarterly. On April 1st, I went to scan my card at the red machine just to see what I got….they gave me $15 Extra Care Bucks. I felt like I had hit a jackpot!
Walmart doesn’t fool me at all, and I only go in there if I have no choice or I can leave with something free.
Just FYI…my mom works for Wal-Mart and her store just underwent a remodel. She said that when WM does a remodel they get approval for unlimited clearance. Her store had $200 lego sets reduced to $1!!! That was just one of many INSANE markdowns they made while undergoing the remodel. So…..if you know any wal-marts in your area that are going through or will go through a remodel…..check OFTEN for insane clearance.
Where is everyone finding clearance at walmart? I usually do not shop there because my target (in North Texas) price matches as well.
