Calm, a subscription-based meditation app for your phone, are offering teachers free access to the app’s Premium-level meditations — access that carries with it a $59.99 value.
The Calm Schools initiative is a new program that allows teachers to incorporate periods of quiet and intentionality into the school day. It’s available to any teacher with a K-12 classroom.
As a teacher, all you have to do is fill out a short form on the Calm website. After a few days, you’ll receive approval and unlimited access to numerous guided meditations and mindfulness exercises. Your confirmation email will also include tips and best practices for incorporating mindfulness into a classroom environment.
