Since Walmart takes competitor coupons you should be able to get these at Walmart for free as well. I did it last night and the pens are .94 there. I did stop first at the cashier supervisor person and ask her if I can use the coupon and she said, “yes” and I had my binder with me and the coupon policy too.
These are not coupons that the Walmart Policy allows. Some store managers will, but they do not state the price of the item on the coupon. Glad you scored a great deal though!
I checked today in Oregon Target and they were 1.27 each. Darn it not free.
