Our Walmart (Coos Bay OR) said that corporate sent out a notice that Walmart stores will no longer apply manufacture’s coupons to trial and travel size, even if there is no restriction on the coupon.
What– I think that is crazy and wrong. If the manufacture does not state a size limit, Walmart or any other store for that matter should not decline it on a travel size. We need to get together and protest that if it does happen.
You should give 1-800-walmart a call to find out the truth. I know that the store I work at has not received any information stating that about trial sizes and coupon use.
Well, that’s just a shame! I guess I’ll remove my self-made “I <3 Wal-Mart" bumber sticker now….stingies! lol Who wants to lug a big 'ole bottle of shampoo everytime they take a trip somewhere? Airlines already charge high prices for small carry-on bags! Corporate America is getting stingy…..and that's all I have to say about that!
I used the Lay’s coupon from the CVS insert this weekend. It is a manufacture’s coupon for $1/2. I price matched Dillon’s (Kroger). The pice at my Dillon’s is $2.29, making them $1.79 each. Stocked up for an upcoming Halloween party!
Oh! Before I did my transaction I went to the services desk to see how the coupon would ring up. It is a confusing coupon because it also states 2/$6 on it as well as the $1 off of 2.
Our area did not get the CVS coupon insert they are trying to get us to buy one paper other than the big city paper that comes to our small area. If they would put the same coupons in both they wouldnt have this problem every weekend i buy both and we didnt get it in either one.VERY UPSETTING!
