BENTONVILLE, Ark., June 29, 2011 – Today, Walmart announces a 90-day Rollback at the pump to give customers a savings of 10 cents a gallon on all fuel, gas and diesel, at participating Murphy USA and Walmart gas stations. The discount applies to gas purchases made when using a reloadable Walmart gift card, reloadable Walmart MoneyCard® or Walmart credit card from June 29 through September 30, 2011.

Are you noticing that Murphy’s gas is between 8 and 10 cents higher than their competitors? Or is that just a small town thing?!! Murphy has their gas so high here that Brookshire’s (with their 3 cent discount) is still cheaper!! Of course Brookshire’s at times forgets that Murphy has the rollback so they bump their price up and Murphy is then cheaper again…for the moment. These two stores are just next to my house so I see them at least 4 times a day and sometimes the price changes EACH time I pass!! 🙂
Ours has raised prices atleast 0.6 cents/gallon since this deal started. Sneaky sneaky
