Is there a coupon for the first aid kits?
This is a GREAT shopping trip. It would reeeally help a newbie out if you could put in () where we could locate each coupon that was used. I need to be lead directly to the coupon or, Im totally lost. Thanks and lovin’ the blog. Yours is the only one Ive found that covers walmart.
i tried figuring the coupons out for this. would love to do this deal, but can’t figure out the coupons. can anyone help? I would really appreciate it!
I am new to the coupon world and to this website. What navigation bar are you talking about? I would love to read more about what coupons were used.
great job by the way!!
i know the just my size came out of the may all you. $5/1. Similac $5/1 – i have those.. (although similac was over $6 at my walmart). and I know the nivea is expired 5/14. I used up 8 of them on 5/14. but for the propel – are they the singles? I guess so.. what coupon for those? the magic erasers – are they the two packs?
anyone know the deal on the below? what coupons? thanks…

I think she priced matched CVS for the Similac at $4.99. The Propel was in the 5/1 newspaper (not sure what insert I just clip them) (aleady used so I’m not sure how much it was for.) I hope this helps a little.
Sorry I should have sent the coupons that went with each item as well.

and a bunch of bananas no coupon used.
Side note on the Propel. That coupon I am sure Propel intended to go to 6 packs but Walmart said the way it was worded they could technically use it on the singles so that is what I did and the register did beep but only because they are only .50 each so each bottle gave me .50 overage which paid for my Mr Clean erasers of .47 left over on them.
Which Mr. Clean coupons did you use? I see a .50/1 and a 1.50/2 ?
The Mr. Clean is $1.50 off a TWO PACK. So you can use one coupon for each two-pack box. My Walmart has raised the price to $1.97 on the regular erasers. =(
They might have used the $1/1 propel or propel zero 6 pack… they might have used those on the single bottles which is misuse…
Why is that misuse? The way it reads is $1/1 propel….or propel zero 6 pack. If it read $1/1 propel 6 pack or propel zero 6 pack, it would be a no-brainer. When I saw that coupon, I read it a few times and wondered about the wording as well. I’m a teacher, and just goes to show that the company should proofread…lol. Tell my kids that all the time!
The coupon for the propel water that was in the moments to save was for 6 packs only, It was for Propel or Propel Zero (since there are 2 different kinds) 6 packs, not meant for individual bottles.
So you think it’s ok to use on the single bottles? It clearly states that it should be 1 propel or propel zero 6 pack not 1 propel single or a propel zero 6 pack. And you think your students should work on their reading. Sorry excuse for a teacher if you ask me.
I want to say I’m sorry for my Teacher comment. It was out of line. I tend to get a little upset when I see fraud.
There were also the $.50 Propel coupons making them free.
But she didn’t use those she used the 1.oo off a 6 pack coupon.
where could i find the .50 cent coupons?
Today is the first time I noticed (and used) your coupon database. That thing is AWESOME!!! thanks so much for your hard work with it! It is very useful
I am assuming there are 2 types of Propel Water. Which are Propel and Propel Zero. I have the coupon in spanish and to my understanding it says $1.00/1 6 pack of Propel or Propel Zero.
Monica it was 1.50 off a twin pack and those were twin packs and yes on the propel they worded it incorrect therefore walmart said to them it was ok to use on a single I asked before doing it to get their opinion.
At my store I cant find Propel water single…. is it by the 6 pack?
Thanks
Yes, there was a .50 coupon for propel singles back in Feb, but the one on the Pepsi insert is for the 6 pack that is why the register was beeping, coupons don’t beep at Walmart because the product is less than the coupon value, that is why you get the overage, it beeps when something is wrong with the coupon or when they must validate the coupon
There were $1/2 Propel Zero Calorie Single Serve Bottles, 20 oz or 24 oz in the 2/13/2011 SS Insert (exp 5/31/2011). If the Propel Zero is .50 then this would be the correct coupon to use. The register at Wal-Mart does beep if the coupon value exceeds the item price (the register asks “Valid Coupon?”) but the cashier can push it through. It looks like Wal-Mart misinterpreted what the manufacturer mean on the coupon but if the store cleared the coupon before the purchase was made then the customer did nothing wrong.
Of course the customer did something wrong.. she said right there that she knew it was for the 6 pack, but walmart said it was ok to use on the single…Who is going to get in trouble… well yes the couponer… not walmart… im so sick of all these people and misusing coupons, it is starting to really tick me off@@!@@@
I am surprise that the lady said that she knew the coupon was for the 6 pack but the wording made it ok to use on the singles. “1.00 when you buy either 1 propel or propel zero 6 pack”. The OR is not where it stops. It still means a propel 6 pack and just because the store allowed it doesn’t make it right. If you knew it was right you wouldn’t have had to ask the store. It’s like those extreme couponers who stop reading a coupon at the word any… It doesn’t really mean ANY there is more to the coupon. Nice way to commit fraud.
Holy Cow take it easy everyone. I understand that everyone is very passionate about saving money and coupons but we have to be civil. Normally an “OR” is where you get to decide between what product to use. The coupon should read 1 propel 6 pk OR 1 propel zero 6pk. Now that being said, that is what they probably meant. I don’t want to do anything to jeopardize the policies that WM allows us to use. The MFG does have a responsibility to produce a clearly and concise written coupon. I can see how someone could interpret the way the cashier decided to. Please we can have constructive criticism or question posts, but lets not declare war. If I feel that anyone is trying to purposely use coupons fraudulantly I will call them out. I don’t want it to get to the point where noone wants to post in fear of being put in front of the firing squad, that doesn’t help anyone save money.
Well said Paul!!! Thanks for your site, I just love it and all the info that you provide!! Thanks!!
Kristen, I understand your point, but there is no reason to be rude. We’re all here for one reason….to save money. If you wouldn’t have used the coupon that way, then that is your choice. I happen to agree that the wording leaves something to be desired; it IS unclear.
I wasn’t trying to be rude but I would rather err on the side of caution when using a coupon than use it in a way that is most likly fraud. I understand some people like to get every deal they can without thinking about what it does to couponing in the long run. If you really think about it why would they issue a coupon that is good for 1 single propel OR you have to buy a 6 pack of the propel zero to use the coupon? The answer is they didn’t intend for it to be used on the singles. That’s all I was trying to say and any other use would be fraud.
Well, we know the Propel is an issue, but what about the Mr. Clean coupons that clearly state limit of 4 like coupons per transaction?
In most cases I have seen that is a store policy, not a mfg policy, and Walmart for the most part chooses to ignore that.
Paul, you make no sense. The coupon put out says limit 4 like coupons per transaction. I always try to do things with honesty and integrity, couponing included. You are in a position with your blog to influence many people. I would think you would be encouraging people to use coupons correctly. Apparently I am wrong. Incorrect use of coupons will eventually lead to no coupons.
Mary, I honestly have no idea what you are talking about but I will take a guess at what was misinterpreted. I have stated a few times that in ads they sometimes set limits as to how many items you can buy. Those are limits set by stores NOT by manufacturers, in my experience Walmart ignores those because of the stock that they carry. If I have ever said anything you interpret as ignoring written specs on a coupon I apologize and it was not intentional.
The limit is not in the ad, but on the actual coupon being used. Like most P&G coupons it states “Limit 4 coupons per transaction”.
