“Just wanted to let you know that I was able to price match an oil change at Wal-Mart this weekend. We always get coupons/flyers in the mail from the small oil changes business’s locally, but when you go to use them they are forever trying to get you to buy extras. I decided to take one of the coupons to Wal-Mart TLE – it was $14.95 for an oil change and tire rotation. They honored it with no questions asked! Saved me $15 and no high pressure sales tactics!”

How much did Wal Mart do? One thing brought to my attention, was that when you go to those independent oil change places, they usually will replace a filter, and top off all fluids, where Wal Mart only changed the oil. I’m NOT a mechanic, but it’s nice knowing someone is topping off other fluids that are needed. ??? Is this an issue? I would love to know from someone who knows cars : )
@ Kriss – they did check and top off all fluids as well as the oil change. Everything they normally do, I just paid alot less than I normally would have 🙂
