This is one of the number one things that I price match at Walmart. Soda. I think they are a little high in price there.
This past week I price matched Walgreens 5 for $13 sale. Made them $2.60 a 12-pack or $.21 each. Try to have a price point for items when you know you are getting a good deal. I like to stay under $.25 a can on soda.
Keep an eye open for peelies on the boxes for $1 off!

The 24 packs at my wal-mart are alot of times 4.99 which is pretty cheap. And this week at Wal-greens the deal for us was 5 for 14 dollars. Funny how it was a dollar off from your’s!

I am a newbie couponer, I have only been at this about 2 weeks, so I am trying to learn as much as I can. You mentioned to “try to have a price point in mind” so you know you are getting a good deal. Of course, if it’s free or I am getting paid to take it out of the store, I know I am getting a good deal, but because I am so new I don’t know what things I should hold out to get free vs. what is a good price. Do you have information to share on this?

I will only buy pop when it is 2.50/12-pk or less, which makes it .21 can. In northern IL I can get it at that price quite a bit (or sometimes below now that I am couponing and paying closer attention 🙂 Which has worked for me for years now and I always have pop in my house. For 2 liters I will only buy if it is $1 or less. Of course it helps if you are not particular to a certain brand (Coke, Pepsi…) Hope that helps!

Hello, the 24 pack coke at the walmart in coral springs is $5.48 plus they have the $1 off 2 and when you buy a case you get a 2 liter coke zero for free.
