I wanted to show you something that I thought was interesting….
This Kodak Camera in my store was on Roll-Back for $139. It is the Kodak M580, a really good camera for the price.
I thought I would see how much it is online. It was online for $125 as a bundle and $119 by itself! Cheaper if I get it online!
Walmart unfortunately does not price-match anything online.
What I would like to know and don’t know if you would know is I wanted the new Crayola Crayon Maker – which is 15.00 online – but out of stock and 20.00 some odd at Walmart – I have checked each day but they have not restocked – if the stores have it why would on-line not have it – does not make sense to me. I only found this out when I went to purchase it and told the girl “why would I pay you 20+ when it is on-line for 15.00” she said I know – right! that happened to another women yesterday and she put hers back also. So to the question – why do they do this but yet not price match in the store???? I understand a store front has OVERHEAD, but online has to have its cost also, plus a warhouse and people to man it so what gives???
Exactly, and honestly I am not sure. I think the inventory is different and located different around the country. I just wished they price matched online.
I really wished they would price match their own online items. Especially since you can have it shipped to the store for free(or most of the time they have .97cent shipping). People never believe me when I tell them Wal-mart is cheaper online!!
Thanks for all you do!!
