When you freezing shredded cheese you really can’t tell the difference. On the other hand when you freeze the block cheese you will have a hard time slicing it because it will crumble. If you are making homemade mac n cheese or something like that crumbling doesn’t matter and worth the savings. Just depends on what you are using this cheese for.
