It sounds weird, but it also can be used for stinky shoes. Just sprinkle a bit in and sit over night. I have tons of baby powder from my little one and didn’t use any so I had to be resourceful.
Also if you have an oily or greasy stain on your clothes like food or perfume stain just sprinkle it with baby powder immediately and it will come off after washing.
I use it to get spaghetti sauce stains out. Sprinkle some on the stain, let it sit for at least an hour. Shake it off, turn the garment inside out and put it over a strainer. Pour boiling water through the back side of the fabric where the stain is. Repeat until you can’t see it. Launder. If the stain is still there do NOT put it in the dryer, but try the process again. I have actually saved some of my kids clothes by doing this. It’s a lot of steps but it’s worked for me. Just make sure the fabric can take the boiling water.
We’ve used the baby powder to help with stinky shoes. We also use it on my guys to get the hair trimmings off their body when we cut their hair at home.
