This is a HUGE full page of in-store coupons in my Safeway/Randalls ad. Because all of these list a specific price, I can use them at Walmart.
What this means is that basically they are “price matching” the coupon to the price at Safeway. In the Walmart coupon policy it says:
We accept Competitors’ coupons:
- A specific item for a specified price, for example, $2.99
- Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons for items with a specified price
- Have a valid expiration date
- Are acceptable in black and
What will happen is that they will NOT scan this coupon, they will override the Walmart price and key in the printed price on the Safeway/Randalls coupon as the price of your item. This is the same as if you are price matching the item and so you will be able to use an additional manufacturer’s coupon on top of it. Just as if you are price matching.
I know that some of you have a problem at your store with price matching and using a coupon, you can call 1-800-walmart to confirm that this is indeed acceptable if you need to.
If you have access to a printed Safeway/Randalls ad make sure to take advantage of these coupons!! They are a really great way to save some money! Just find the items you want, print a coupon for it ( look for them in my coupon database) and check out!
