I successfully used this coupon last night on 2 bottles Motrin, 24 ct (a handy size to carry in my purse!). I posted about it, along with numerous other savings I got (spent less than $7 on over $30 worth of stuff) on my blog as well as on a couple homeschooling forums I frequent and someone questioned me about the “25 ct” limit stated on the coupon. I pointed out that it is only the Zertec that has that limit.
I read over the coupon VERY carefully…and pointed it out to the cashier (before she started ringing everything up–didn’t want her thinking I was trying to pull a fast one) saying how I interpreted it, but said “let’s let the computer tell us if I’m right”. The coupon says (paraphrasing from memory) “Zertec 25ct or larger” and then goes on to list the other brands…specifying afterwards only no trial size.
I was pretty sure I was interpreting it right, and the cashier seemed to think my interpretation was correct as well, but we both figured the best test was to scan it. It scanned with no problem. It would have been rejected if we weren’t correct.
I’m thankful that my particular Walmart has been pretty coupon-friendly so far. Perhaps it is because it’s a brand new store. After years of only having a “regular” Walmart, we finally got a SuperWalmart in October.
