As many of you know we have been in China visiting Tiffany’s Parents in China. In case you were wondering, it is possible to survive 2 weeks on Fried Rice. (ask Tiffany) I think for fun I am going to pick up a few bag of this to make fried rice for another two weeks, I might even go crazy and add a meat!

We’ve been buying this rice (with coupons) at Walmart, and we love it. It’s different from “regular” white rice this pearl kind. I make it in the rice cooker and it has more of a “sticky rice” taste/texture – – but it’s REALLY good!
@ LaToya-
I was curious, since I’ve never made this rice, what’s the ratio of water to rice that you use when you cook this in the rice cooker? Or do you just measure the rice when you put it in the cooker and then use the cooker’s lines on the side to measure the water?
@Paul-
My parents are from the Philippines where fried rice is more of a breakfast food. Reason being is that the fried rice from there is made with any leftover meat, shrimp, peas or/and some scrambled egg or breakfast sausage. This makes fried rice a satisfying all-in-one meal!
