no, that is not true. No coupon that says excludes trial or travel size can be used on trial or travel size. LOL. I am not sure why people feel the need to interject their own interpretations of coupons.
I tried to use my coupons on the lotion marked $.97 & the (VERY RUDE) clerk told me that they could not take the coupon at Walmart because they couldn’t give me the $.03 back…..I tried to explain to her I didn’t want the $.03 back & she then said well, they might give money back at CVS but not at Walmart…..I was having a really good day, so decided to let it slide, but I will go back & use my coupons cause I know she was WRONG & the poor soul just wanted to argue about the coupon. I even had other items that the $.03 would of went towards as overage. She just didn’t get it at all…..GOOD HELP IS REALLY HARD TO FIND!

She should have given you the money back….Walmart’s coupon policy says….”If coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the excess may be given to the customer as cash or applied toward the basket purchase.” That is copied directly from their online policy. Maybe you should print it out and take it with you. Good luck!!!
