If you got the $5 off Similac coupon in this weekends SS insert you can not only get free Similac but overage as well. The liquid bottle is only $3.84 and you can only use 1 coupon per transaction, but that is still $1.16 in overage! Thanks KCL.
Similac Ready to Feed (1 Qt) priced at $3.84
Use $5/1 Similac Product coupon from 4/3 SS insert
FREE with $1.16 overage after coupon
Why only one coupon per transaction?
That is what the coupon states.
The bottle she’s talking about costs $5.25 at my local Walmart. No overage, but not bad paying a quarter for Similac.
The advantage is over $5 at my stores but the organic and one other kind is in the $3 range
So if i buy 5 it has to be 5 transactions ?
Yes that’s right! 🙂
I live in Orlando, FL… and it was not in today’s paper… 🙁
Hi PAUL!!
Okay, so I went to my local walmart off of hwy 290 in Cypress Tx. With 6 $5 coupons… got there at 11pm last night and I did see where the Similac Ready to Feed (1 Qt) was priced at $3.84, but they were out of stock – shelves were bare. However, I noticed in walmarts circular this week on the very back page in small print they have included “walmarts advertised merchandise policy” which states if an advertised item is out of stock at your walmart store, upon your request, we will issue you a rain check so that you can purchase the item at the advertised price when it becomes available. In addition we may offer to sell you a similar item at the advertised price or a comparable price reduction”
So I called over a manager and showed her the circular and what it read… and I asked her since they were out of stock could I substitube it for the similac advance RTF advanced soy (pinkish bottle) it was priced around $5 or so. She sad yes I could substitute it for the same price as the $3.84 one. Well long story short. Get up to the register. 2 managers had to come up their. They said I could use the Q cause its more than the price……showed them the circular, they said they don’t give out RC’s – huh? Also said that the pic on the Q wasn’t the same as the item I was buying…wth??? So yeah I finally got outta there at 230 this am and I’m so lived I couldn’t go to sleep. I wanna call corporate but what do I sayM SO tired of this issue. Something needs to be done! I love walmart so much but they need to be on top of their policies. Uuugghh!
So, With that being said, I called over a store manager and asked her if I could substitute the. that they did not have in stock for Similac Ready to Feed (1 Qt) priced at $3.84 Use $5/1 Similac Product coupon from 4/3 SS inser
I know its crazy. you have so many people that have been there for so long and are just old school. Wal Mart knows my offer still stands to go train all their stores on their own coupon policies, coast to coast me and the wife and all the babies!
That would be totally awesome, Paul if you an Tiffany could make this happen. This would be a HUGE benefit, for both couponers as well as walmart employee’s!
Thank you for all you do you Paul! This site is freakin awesome 🙂
I just got back from a walmart in Chardon, Oh and I got 12 bottles of similac spit up kind for $3.84 each. When I rang it up she said she couldnt do the whole $5 so I played stupid. I was like “ohh umm I think I heard somewhere that your coupon policy changed. Can you see if a manger can find the new updated one maybe”? She well very nice and so was the manager. Finally the manager found the “memo” and said oh yeah it can be rung up for $5 off. I love playing stupid. It will actually get you father than arguing with the cashier 🙂
Thanks for all the wonderful info on this site. I come here 5 times a day 🙂
Did they take all 12 coupons in one transaction?
I guess the 8+ stores in the louisville, KY have a really good district manager. No matter what store I am at, each cash register has a laminated coupon policy hanging in the cashiers face. The cashiers do have to read over it from time to time but NO problems at all.
I am hooked on Walmart again after not shopping with them for more than 3 years. Since the policy change, I have purchased a little over $3000.00 in merchandise (all with coupons) that they would have not sold to me. Gee do you think this was a strategic move on their part??
Will it beep or something if you use more than one per transaction? If not I don’t think they will even look at this.
Formula went back up to the original price in my area after the long hiatus from the recall. What a bummer since I buy it weekly. I still only paid .88 cents for the bottle but I was hoping to put the overage toward another bottle! Oh well… used and bought.
