Use the $1/1 Purex Complete with Zout Detergent or Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets from the 3/13/2011 RP Insert = FREE
OR
Use the $3/1 Purex Complete with Zout Detergent or Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets from the 2/20/2011 RP Insert (exp 3/19/2011) = FREE + $2.00 in overage!
It looks like the only 1 coupon that excludes travel size is the Home Mailer coupon. So you should be good to go!
The travel size Purex has a $1.00 coupon in it for purchase of the full size package. It doesn’t expire until 12/31/11.
Did you guys find these in the health and beauty part of WM where all the other travel sizes are, or with the detergents?? Thanks 🙂
I have seen them in HBA with the other travel sized items. Hmm..now I’m not so upset that I missed out on the CVS deal! Woohoo to overages!
Thanks!! <3
Sorry to bombard your comments, but when I was looking for my coupons and searching the database, the only $1/1 coupon (that was located directly under the $3/2 3-in-1 coupon) says $1/1 bottle of Purex Ultra Concentrate liquid laundry detergent. There is a $1/1 3-in-1 that was sent in a mailer and a printable, but they both exclude the travel size. Am I missing something? Thanks again 🙂 🙂
Jennifer,
Bombard all you want! Were you able to check the coupons that Rebecca listed? We have used all of ours so I was not able to I did want to make sure you could use them on trial size. When they are not in front of me I can’t read it all and have to go by readers comments and what the database says.
I notice now that she (or you?) typed 3/13 RP, so maybe it’s this coming Sunday’s coupon? At first I thought it was a typo.
Okay, I just checked on the coupon preview website, and there’s supposed to be a $1/1 for that. So I’m guessing I jumped the gun HAHA! Thanks for all you do and your quick response. Now I’ll be ready on Sunday! I’m gonna go hunt for them today and see where they are at my store.
Mine said the liquid bottles too, but it worked just fine for the sheets.
I just got back from Walmart with a fail attempt to do this with overage!! UGHHH sooo mad… they would no take the coupon!! I ask for manager and she obviously hasn’t read the coupon policy! She wasn’t having it. So said I’d call corporate and their manager. I called manager and she said I was right and for me to come in next time, ask for her and she will take care of me and my coupons!!
So Paul, here’s my question… where on the Walmart site to I look for the coupon policy? I see you link but I want to have proof as to where this is located on their website.
Thank you for all you do!!
Click on the first link on that blog entry. It takes you to a walmartstores.com website. Surely that’s good enough for them?? I hate dealing with cashiers who act like you’re robbing them blind by using coupons… LOL
Hannah: The Walmart corporate polciy is at: http://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx.
I actually did this deal on Sunday. I bought 5 travel packs @ $0.97 and used 5 $3/1 coupons. I decided to use the $10.15 overage for my dogs’ shampoo since I can never find coupons for it! When the cashier scanned it, it came up “valid coupon amount?” Cashier must have just hit yes because there was no problem. I’m just not sure if A)he knew about the new policy or B)he just “pushed it through”.
I think it is a better idea to use up the overage then to ask for the $ back (as per the coupon policy). I’ve read disturbing comments on other blogs where people have been getting lots of cash back because of the wording in the new coupon policy. If that continues I’m afraid Walmart will change their policy VERY quickly!
as a walmart cashier, i can tell you that the only thing were worried about is getting in trouble for doing something wrong. walmart knows that they will be reimbursed from the manufacturer usually by more than what the coupons for. theyre considering it from the corporate angle as a moneymaking opportunity by bringing coupons there instead of elsewhere. (and walmart is always looking for ways to make money!!!!!!!!!!!!!) personally, this new thing goes well with my discount. cant wait to use my walgreens register rewards at walmart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
according to their new policy, you can not use walgreen’s register rewarrds at Walmart
Hi! I searched for the travel size in the health and beaut aid section where all of the other travel size things are, on the isle that has all of the other laundry detergents, and then at the check out. Could not find it. Am I missing something?
I went and looked around my walmart and couldn’t find it either. I did see it at Walgreens though.
I did the overage yesterday at WM & also purchased dog supplies that I never get coupons for. Just wanted to post, in case some of you haven’t used these sheets before, they will leave OIL stains on your clothes. I think it’s the dryer cycle that does it, but I’ve resorted to using them only in our towels & dog blankets. I’ve been able to get the stains out, using Fels Naptha, but who has time for that….WAY too many coupons to clip! LOL
Yeah, I’ve been using them and getting the small “oil” dots on my clothes – they do come out when you wash with another detergent but it’s annoying at $1.50 a load in my apt. building! I have quite a large stash of them from a deal at Walgreens last fall. Hope they sell well in my garage sale this spring!
How much do the full size Purex 3-in-1 usually cost?
Mine was $4.78 If I remember right.
I am just beginning to use coupons. I live in a small area with not a whole lot of options to shop. How do I get the inserts from Red Plum if they don’t come in the Sunday paper?
You can sign up at the Red Plum website to have the coupons mailed to you – only if you are in an area where they do not come in the Sunday paper. I was able to sign up but have never gotten the coupons even though it’s hit or miss as to whether my local papers have them. Worth a try for you, though – try http://www.redplum.com, I think that’s the right address.
I saw this post and went to Walmart on my break from work. I tried to buy the Purex and the manager told me I could not because the Purex cost loss than the coupon amount. I asked could she reduce the coupon, she said no because then they would get more money than they were owed. I just send an email to corporate. I hope this situation gets addressed. Also, my store had about 50 of them in the travel section.
Did you have the coupon policy with you? Print it off and take it with you, it clearly says that they will take a coupon for more than the amount of the item.
I did not have the coupon policy, with me, but I just printed it off and I am about to return to the same store to try it again. I will let you know if I am successful this time. 🙂
Just went to Wal-Mart. Subtotal: $120.00 after coupons and overages: $11.35! I bought the gain fab softener, purex, milstone coffee, reach floss, produce, meat, chicken, cream cheese, milk, butter, and lunch meat! (I know theres more…but, can’t think of it all right now) I DID bring the policy with me, and boy am I glad I did! It took 45 mins to get through the checkout with 2 csms and finally the store manager. It was fun overall! 🙂
Anna,
Can you send us what you bought?? So I can post it for other to see?
I plan on doing this deal with the $1 off coupons but I know next week there will be another CVS sale next week where the Purex will be $3.99 but those will be hard to get because I STILL haven’t been able to find a whole lot of Purex at any CVS with my raincheck from two weeks ago. I wanted to price match it next week at Wal Mart. My long winded question was…how do I do that? Is it as simple as taking the CVS ad to Wal Mart and get how ever many I want at the CVS price?
can we ask walmart to special order a certain amt? someone cleared the walmart near my home out…
Some stores will and some wont, just ask a few different managers
thk u =]
