WARNING!!!! You might not like it or you may get a little offended because you could be the problem. I am obviously not talking about everyone, not even most of you but there are more than a few and it annoys the crap out of me. If you are the person that goes on a companies Facebook Page or calls their customer service asking “Can this coupon be used on this product?” it is YOUR fault. Let me explain what you are really doing and saying. You are really saying “Excuse me Mr. Multi Billion Dollar Company that pays lawyers and marketing people more than this coupon could cost you per year, you have this coupon that makes for a really great deal, it might even be free did you mean to do that?”
Seriously stay off the damn company Facebook pages asking CSR’s questions about coupons and values. I in no way promote a if it scans then its cool policy, but if the coupon doesn’t exclude an item or if it pays overage it is ok. They do not match coupons up with transactions, they all go together into a clearing house. The only way they know if we make a big deal about things. I can think of about 4 deals in the past 6 months that have been ruined by busybodies that have nothing better to do than ask unnecessary questions and ruin deals that many people could have really used.

preach paul preach, lol. some people do make too big a deal out of couponing it seems. just read the coupon, match what it says and go on. i rarely tell people about the deals i find, i don’t want others judging me ( i once bought 20 bottles of detergent from cvs on a saturday night, the manager loaded my cart and put it in my car for me because he wanted the end cap empty). it was the last day and he needed the space for the next day’s sales. (part of his stock room is upstairs and you can imagine the work putting it back). i put it on a website and got crucified by people for buying that much. i had even put on there what i did with the detergent ( i donate to our local women’s shelter and my mom, make a run last week to the food bank dropoff) but some people don’t care. keep up the great work you do and thanks for it all.
