This year we are starting a new family tradition! Yesterday morning, the kids woke up to a big surprise! Someone…. had snuck into the house and decorated the kitchen table, brought mini trees to decorate and made a yummy breakfast. They also delivered an Elf to watch the kids and report back to Santa!
We had so much fun! I would highly recommend this for your family!
** I have 2 little videos you can watch… I want to warn you that I am in my P.J.’s and my 16 month old is eating off the floor… and that is they way we roll!
You can get your own copy of the Elf on the Shelf HERE or HERE.

OMG! You have no idea how much the promo ROCKS!! That was so cool! I just said something to my family yesterday that the “Elf on the Shelf” is coming soon and then I saw this! LOVE the mini trees! You kids are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing this special moment with your readers!
You need to send that video in to the makers of elf on the shelf! This video rocked! Your kids are so adorable thanks for sharing.
We have Dalton the elf in our house. It’s not really the Elf on the Shelf, but santa sends him to you because he is so naughty and makes messes at the north pole.He also comes Thanksgiving night. Each night Dalton makes mischief, some sort of mess. Once he even decorated our Christmas tree with socks and little boys underwear! You have to feed him crackers and water and sprinkle him with north pole snowflakes(paper holes from hole punch) that is how he comes alive at night. The kids have even written him questions and he has answered! Oh he ends up usually in the freezer in the morning because it is so cold it reminds him of the north pole.

I am so in love with your family! I have four little girls and know they will flip when I do this tomorrow. You are all amazing! Thank you for sharing your ideas, family, and deals. Have a Happy start to your holidays, I know we will thanks to you 🙂
Thank you so much! Let us know how it goes!
I love that this is how your family rolls. Someone grabbing something off the floor via the ‘5 second rule’ makes me feel right at home! We love our elf too- started when our boys were really little and now that they are 11 and 14 they still love it. Ours is pretty naughty though and gets worse (better?) by the year…
I love it!! Baby Andy & Rush….priceless….LOL!! Defintely going to try this for our children. Thanks for posting!
I was inspired so I went to Walmart and bought a small tree and ornaments for my kids and Walmart had tons of Elf themed items out for Christmas! Thanks for sharing!
