This week you should be able to snag these EXPO dry erase markers for FREE when you price match with Walgreens. And yes, you should be able to price match the $.99 price in your stores.
Here’s how it works. The ad states a price and there is an instore coupon. It might not be a bad idea to grab a coupon from Walgreens, I am assuming they are out of stock on te markers by now. Worst case scenario they won’t allow you to use a MFG coupon on top and you score them for $.99.
Thanks to Reader Jodi!

I need some suggestions about price matching at my Walmart in Albuquerque. They do not price match to Walgreens/CVS registar rewards/extra bucks prices, what can I do? Am I missing the specific in the policy? I don’t see that they will match to that price as stated in the above post for the dry erase markers. Please guide me. Thanks for all your help and great website.

Lorin, Walmarts policy is NOT to price match RR, ECB prices and therefore there is nothing you can do. As far as the scenario above its going to depend on your store, some stores will honor it some won’t..not really a policy thing I think its just going to depend on how they read into the policy.
Paul says
this is not an ECB deal, it is an in store coupon.

I see now, I thought the post was a registar reward, I now see the “in store coupon”. Sorry for the confusion.

BUT, the in store coupon is for $3 off, not for a specific price. Will that make a difference? Also, my friend has been price matching for after RR and ECB prices at a WM in Spring. I can’t believe they’ve let her do that! That’s not the policy, is it?
Paul says
My read is the ad states the price and then there is a store coupon so they should honor it.

I guess if they accept the walgreens booklet coupon then it does end up being .99c but I was under the impression they arent allowed to stack a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon.
Paul says
no, you can because it is treated in the system as a price match, not two coupons on one product

My Walgreens gave me a rain check because they were all out.

I did this at Walmart yesterday my cashier honored the ad & with my coupons I got them for free. BTW Walmarts price on these were $7.88 & it was the same dry erase markers as walgreens 🙂
