I finally found these today. I’ve been looking for a few weeks now. They were in the back of the store by the toys. I bought my limit and entered my codes. I am just worried about the fact that you don’t have to show proof of purchase or mail in receipts and the codes are just taped to the front of the package. I can see all kinds of problems with stealing with this deal!
I agree Brooke, I also see lots of troubles with not having to show proof of purchase. It will be energizer who loses out on this deal, as Walmart gets reimbursed by them for the gift cards, as I did contact the store to advise them of this. Energizer has just made it easy for people to get $40 of walmart gift cards for nothing, just go to the store and rip the codes off the packages…hmmmm what was energizer thinking? And sure there is a limit to the 4 gift cards per household, but I’m sure that the witty thieves will figure a way around that to get 100’s of dollars in gift cards without ever buying one pack of batteries…sad for those of us who honestly buy their batteries.
I’ve a couple hundred in cards by taking the rebates from the packages. Walmart employees helped and did the same. They said if you want em for people who buy batteries then require proof of purchase or seal en in package!
Just tried to use mine and they were bad. Called up the number on the webpage to enter the numbers and was told that the first group that went out were not activated. They are supposed to be getting new ones out that will take up to thirty days.
Hope they come in this time working. I was hoping to just use these for Christmas gifts.
