If you love the idea of Elf on the Shelf – this is a cheaper (and adorable) alternative!

Right now you can score the Elf on the Shelf Reindeer Pet for just under $15 on Amazon – which is half the price of an elf.  It comes with a book and the best part is your child can TOUCH the Reindeer (since they can’t touch the elf).

While the Elf is supposedly the one that does the actual “reporting back to Santa” – you could definitely set up your own tradition where the Reindeer does it instead. (Who says you have to go with the flow?) 🙂
