• In urban centers acute asthma may comprise up to 10% of all ED visits
• Around age 20, men and women are equally likely to have asthma. However, as women age they are more likely than men to have asthma
• Indoor and outdoor allergies often coexist with asthma (seasonal or year-round allergies)The patient profile is:• 18 to 75 years old
• Has had asthma for at least one year
• Asthma is currently symptomatic
• Has experienced at least 2 asthma exacerbations within the past year

Patient Profile:
• Males or Females age 18+
• Has been diagnosed with hyperlipidemia, high cholesterol, or high triglycerides
• Is at risk for cardiovascular issues
• Otherwise healthy and denies history of cancer, kidney disease, congestive heart failure, etc.
About Hyperlipidemia:
• Hyperlipidemia refers to increased levels of lipids (fats) in the blood, including cholesterol and triglycerides.
• Hyperlipidemia is found in 35% of men and 25% of women
• In most cases, hyperlipidemia is caused by an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise.
