I started my 30 day Great Weight Rollback challenge today. My goal is to lose 20 pounds in 30 days and lose 50 pounds by March 13th. I am going to report to you guys what I am eating and doing each day to keep me honest. If you have decided or want to join me then leave a comment below and let me know how you did today.
Breakfast- I had 2 eggs and 2 pieces of Canadian bacon and a glass of milk
Lunch- 1 chicken breast smothered with cheese (YUM) 2 glasses of water.
Dinner- Bowl of Shredded Crock pot chicken, black beans, Queso Fresco and avocado slices.I made this so everyone could have soft tacos, I just put mine in a bowl and skipped the tortillas!
Exercise- Walked a little over a mile and did some yard work.
I will let you know what time I get to bed tonight.
That’s a pretty lofty goal! Remember to keep goals attainable so you don’t lose motivation if you slip a little. Losing weight slowly is better for you and it’s proven you’ll keep weight off longer when you gradually lose. However you decide to do it, good luck to you!! 🙂
i wish you the very best . i lost 60 lbs about 2 years ago and have managed to keep about 45 off. no carbs can be very hard to do. as far as the tortillas, walmart sells one that is very carb friendly. it only has about 5 carbs in each. i can’t remember the name right now, but all you have to do is look for them. i will going on a “challenge” in a couple of weeks here , our town sponsors it, so the best to all of us.and do you have the recipe for the crock pot chicken? thanks.
Thanks r.p., I will look for it when I am in there ALL DAY today getting the inserts done!
Way to go Paul-
I started today too-This is what I had:
Breakfast- slice of wheat toast with 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter, coffee no sugar- hard to get use to.
Lunch- 1/2 turkey and swiss sandwich dry on wheat toast, and 1/2 green salad with lemon juice-
Dinner- 1 chicken breast with wild rice.
I hope to keep it up,
Good Luck,
Irma
That it great Irma, maybe try a flavored tea in the morning. They aren’t quite as bitter as plain coffee and can still give you that little kick you need.
Keep up it up! I know from experience that it’s not easy, especially when others in your household aren’t quite on the same diet as you. 8 year ago, I weighed 200lbs (I’m a 5’5 female). I started the low carb diet and lost 85 lbs! Yes, I dropped to 115! You just have to find what works FOR YOU and keep your head in the game. So… cut to today… married and two children later… I fluctuate between 127 and 133. I want to get back to about 122. Tuna was a HUGE part of my diet. I love tuna, so that worked for me 🙂
Good luck to you my friend. Stay strong… and when it gets hard, dig deep. You can do this!
That is so cool, congrats on all the awesomeness you have brought into your life!
myfitnesspal is a great tool for keeping up with calories in vs calories out. Even helps with how many calories you can have a day to reach your goal.
Paul, would you mind sharing your crock pot chicken recipe?
