CVS Price Matching Thru Feb. 26th!

   The Jet Dry Rinse 8.25 oz is also for $2.99 2 CVS. At my Wal*Mart it is regularly $3.67. I used a $0.40/1 coupon w/ the match. The Purex Ultra Concentrated is only up to 32 loads and I needed HE which is 33 loads for the same price & ounces. I luckily got the OK to price match it and used the $1 off coupon=)

   I’ve noticed my Walmart (both in our town) pulls everything that can be price matched for really cheap. The Purex 3-1 was pulled Saturday night. They were taking it down while I was there and wheeling it to the back. Sure enough they weren’t just cleaning the shelves. They never restocked them! Same with the Gain, which is more confusing to me since they get the money from the manufacturer from this deal. I’ve also had numerous followers on my blog complain about this. Have you come across this at all?

     That really is not right but what can you do? Maybe they’ve had a problem with people being greedy and clearing the shelves. They could at least put a limit on it if that’s the problem. I know the P&G coupons (Gain) states on the coupons that you’re only allowed to use 4 “like” coupons per shopping trip so that would take care of the problem. I can’t believe they go through all that much trouble just to keep people from buying their product!

     Jenny, I have not seen this at my store. BUT I have had a bunch of people say it has happened to them. They have also said that they swear Walmart has raised the prices on items overnight when their is a specific coupon people are using.

   I went to my Wal Mart today to price match the Purex. I was told that they could not price match the CVS ad because the ad says ” Sale! $1.99 with card” and that Wal Mart does not have a card. This was after the cashier checked with another store employee. Has anyone else been told this? If this is true, then Wal Mart would not price match Kroger, CVS, Food Lion, Rite Aid, etc. because all of those stores require your loyalty card to get the “sale price”. Wal Mart shopping is so frustrating at times!
