Gift Baskets and Deals are back + Rebates AGAIN…. + Painful Video ( I am sorry!)

Not only are the stocking stuffers out in full force but they gift packs with the MIR are back as well! My store is full of them and I will post a bunch later in the day, but you can see the right corner where it says “bonus” that is letting you know that there is a magazine rebate offer inside.

You can choose to get the 1 year subscription to selected magazines OR you can submit for the rebate and get $10 -$12 back. Making these a potential Money Maker or just free!

Read the wording inside when you submit to make sure that you have included everything that they are asking for, also it will let you know how many can be redeemed for each household.

The Walmart Black Friday Maps are now Available on Walmart.com!

Everyone is excited about Black Friday at Walmart. I am going to give you as much information as I can to make it as smooth as I can for you. This should answer most of your questions.The three biggest questions that I am being asked are:

1. Will Walmart Price Match other Stores Black Friday Ads?

A: YESSSSSSS! WOOOHOOOOO!. They will match any competitors PRINTED Black Friday Ads. Christmas just got better didn’t it! Because they are Ad Matching black Friday the Gift Card Back Price Match Promotion does not apply for Black Friday. If you missed it on Black Friday, you just miss it.

2. Can I put my Black Friday Items on Layaway?

A: Sorry, No.

3. Do they have Black Friday Store Maps Available?

A: Yes they do, or will (not available yet)! To find your Walmart store’s printable Black Friday map, go to Walmart.com. The Black Friday advertisement for Walmart’s in-store specials includes a link to plan your shopping experience. Click “Go” and Walmart will ask you to enter your zip code, to locate your nearest Walmart’s Black Friday ad and store map.

Walmart Coupon Policy for BOGO Deals- Axe Example

The Walmart Coupon Policy is that Buy One Get One coupons are applied to both items. This is per Walmart Customer Service, this is not directly addressed or stated in their Coupon Policy. I was also told that this can be changed at the discretion of the Store Manager, if the computer accepts the coupons then the deal will work if your manager is ok with it. The bottom line is that if you have a coupon friendly management team at your Walmart you will be able to do this deal.

I did this deal this morning and it worked fine, I have a coupon friendly store.
Do the deal in this order!

CheapSally.com has sponsored a contest to give a blogger a part time job for 2012 that pays A LOT of money. I feel really weird in this economy asking people to help get me a part time job for $100,000. It would really help so that both Tiffany and I could work on our blogs and on bringing you all the best deals full time. It is a very long contest and you guys can only help me by voting with the first two steps of the contest. The last leg of the contest is completely up to me to prove that I can find the best deals. Round 1 – Initial Voting Period
September 1—October 31. Contestants may receive one vote per day from the same person; however, that voter can vote every day for the same person if they like. This is where the competition is really going to heat up, with the 5 vote-leaders from each state vying for the most votes. Contestants should think creatively to promote themselves to voters. The top vote-getter in each state moves on to Round 3.
Round 3 – Online Sourcing Contest
December 1—December 21. Cheap Sally will announce a specific product, one for each day. Beginning at 12:00am EST, contestants have 24 hours to shop for that product using Cheap Sally’s coupons. Points will be award as follows:
One point for each dollar below the product’s highest retail price submitted by a contestant;
One point for each dollar saved with a Cheap Sally coupon. Feel free to submit any coupons you find to the site to help your cause.

How to price match a Walgreens ad to Walmart + Video!

This is the shopping trip that Tiff and I did where we price matched the Walgeens ad to Walmart. Why does this help you in your shopping? Because, 1. I would rather go to 1 store and not a bunch of different ones, and 2. Walmart has a LOT more stock than a drug store and I can go in after the first few hours of a sale and have items still be there!

Today, we saved just at $100 by price matching the items above. Our total was only $33 after coupons and price match! In the video below I explain how to price match the ad from Walgreens and what you can price match and what you can’t. For example, I showed the Purex sale, the policy says it matches the $4.99 price and not the $2.99 after RR price. I know that many of you are able to price match after RR, just consider yourself lucky!
