My In-Laws just recently moved to Beijing China for my Father-In-Laws job. It would be a nice feeling to see the familiar logo in a new country. Just proves to me that you can run… but you can’t hide from the The Mart!

I didn’t think that at $1 that was too bad for a bag of brown sugar?

Look at the little kid on the packaging. Seems kinda funny to see a little blond kid. My FIL says that most kids never use diapers and are potty trained VERY young. Seems like a good idea to me!

The prices didn’t seem to be too terribly bad, it worked out to about $2.50 for that bag of Tide.

Have you been to a Walmart in another country? What were the prices and selection like?

My Walmart has some weird clearance going right now. Garden stuff in January??? They had an entire aisle of it. Maybe they made room for the toys they put out in the garden center? Can’t even begin to guess. But if you are not snowed in, and are looking to redecorate your deck, come to Houston, we have garden clearance!

Here in south Texas (Houston) we don’t get much COLD weather. We are looking at LOW temps all this week and it has people freaking out a little. Anything under 40 and we are in trouble, if it freezes we have major problems and the last time we got ice, school was canceled.

But as true Texans, even at Walmart people are resourceful! Got extra swim noodles?? Wrap your pipes with them! Hey, I bet you readers in Michigan don’t have swim noodles stocked this time of year! That being said, you probably are able to drive in ice though!

I am not sure of the original price… I know it wasn’t $191.00! Either way, the June Beanz dolls are marked down to $5 right now!
