Price matching and using coupons is such an important way to save at Walmart. I know that many of you are having problems and I posted about this last week. I call weekly and talk to corporate about this, and I get the same answer each time that you can do it. I know that some of you are still having trouble and I hate to hear that. Try calling corporate and ask them to work with your store manager to help them understand what is in their policy and make shopping a better experience for you! Always be nice and never get ugly, it really won’t help, but be firm and just try to remember that you are helping all the couponers in your community.

I have called and spoke with Walmart Customer Service regarding price matching and using coupons. What I was told is that it is NOT up to the individual store managers. The Store’s ARE SUPPOSSED TO ACCEPT MANUFACTUR’S COUPON’S AFTER THE PRICE MATCH, per Corporate policy. I mentioned that this part of the policy is not addressed in either the coupon nor the price matching policy. The Customer Service Rep, stated that it is available to all the store manager’s and the cashiers should be trained accordingly- as it is available in their internal training resources. So if anyone has a problem with price matching AND using MQ’s with a price match, customer service should be contacted. I hope this helps anyone experiencing these training issues.
