It is that time of year where I want to start giving things away! This year I have decided to do a Black Friday Special. I am giving away a FREE 40″-42″ Flat Screen LCD HDTV. I didn’t want to be held to a sponsor chosen prize, so I ask my wife(mylitter) to sponsor me! I thought it would be fun to put my shopping skills to the test and see what kind of deal I can find! One of you will be the lucky winner of this prize. From what I can tell these run anywhere from $500 and up. I am obviously trying to find it for less, but regardless someone is going to get a Great Name Brand Babysitter ( I mean TV) for Christmas this year. My favorite thing to watch on TV is “What Would you Do.” It’s a show about putting people in certain situations then testing their reactions to see “What would They do.” The show tackles issues like teen drinking, racism, and a lot of issues we are faced with today. But at the end of each segment a lesson is learned and mindframes are changed. I love it, its very inspiring!

  4871. What Black Friday deal am I looking forward to? At the moment, none really. My family has struggled so much this year that we just don’t have the money to buy much of anything. I had finally gotten a job last month delivering newspapers but one day I wasn’t able to deliver so when I went to the newspaper office to let them know, they said that if I didn’t deliver that day then I would be breaching my contract. Little did I know but that also meant that they were not going to pay me for the work that I did do and the gas that I used to ensure that everyone on my route got their newspapers.     My very favorite show on TV, and there are so few I like these days because I’m not a reality TV junkie, is Law and Order, Criminal Intent. I can watch marathans of all the Law and Order shows but Criminal Intent and Special Victims Bureau, are my all time favorite shows.

  5361. My favorite side on Thanksgiving is the deviled eggs. Why? This is the one item that the whole family gets involved in the making. The laughter, jokes, the master egg chef title, and mostly all the love in the kitchen over the simplist of ingredients,”the egg”.
    Although, the whole meal is terrific, the deviled eggs gets Dad, and all the kids in the kitchen working together. Normally, I don’t let the boys of the house in the kitchen this is one dish they can’t turn black or want to experiment with color or? ???
    Since my husband hardly ever has been home for the holidays, the kids always remember the few Thanksgivings he was home when they were little. Now retired from the Military, this is his favorite holiday that gives him memories and gives him a connection with his kids he thought he sacrificed.

I also grew up and still make what we call ‘peanut salad’. Totally simple dessert with whipped topping, spanish peanuts and bananas.
