Thanks to Frugally Thrifty for helping out with Foodtown, BB and Fiesta! There are some CRAZY GOOD deals on meat. I don’t know if you noticed but the meat at Walmart(at least mine) has gotten much, much better. I bought some beautiful Rib-Eyes for $3.99 that were $7.98. They will be awesome tonight as I watch the Packers and Saints kickoff the NFL Season!

hilander is the kroger affilliate not sure where in wisconsin you are but in beloit we get the hilander paper in the beloit daily news and janesville gazette. on weds or thursdays
None of them. We have Piggly Wiggly and some IGA stores. Copps in Madison but we never get those ads.

I’m in WI too … We have WalMart and Target for major stores with in 30miles of me … we have Cub and Rainbow for major stores in MN those are about 40 min from me. Thanks so much paul for all you do! And I’m sure I shouldn’t add this but I’m not a Packer fan lol

Price compare to the local ads in all the towns around you that is what I do I have none of these stores near me either I am in Ohio
I price compare to Aldi, IGA, Krogers, Dollar General,SaveALot, Target, Meijer, and I have to drive 40 minutes so I can have Walmart match prices
Do Kroger stores in different regions have different prices? When I went to ours in TN all of the febreze products were $1.99 not $1.79.

Thanks for the match up for Kroger. I totally missed about cantaloupe & Juicy Juice. $3.99/lb rib-eye is awesome deal!! I do price match whenever competitors put them for $4.99/lb. Last week, my WM had all the rib-eyes for $4/lb!(they are $7.99/lb or so) My hubby asked the employee, and he said they had many supplies for rib-eye that week and had to sell out by 31st. We got 6 packs. 🙂

Also, I am seeing all the WalMart commercials stating you don’t have to have the price matching ad. But, ours will not price match if you don’t have the ad in your hand.
You should print out the ad match policy and keep it with you. If they still do not do this when you show them the policy then you need to contact the manager. If that does not work then call Corp.
Alternately, I have installed a free PDF printer on my laptop. I view the ads online and hit “Print” on each ad which will save me a digital copy of the ad into a folder on my desktop. When I am checking out, if they want to see the ad, I open the PDF file and show them the full add. They can verify the price and expiration details. This takes only a minute AND when they see I have digital copies of all my ads they are very easy to work with. I also carry a copy of the price matching and coupon policy in my binder.
Do these stores Randalls, Safeway, etc have to be near your Walmart b4 they will match them?! Like a certain mileage?! Thanks 🙂

I guess we are VERY rural, but our local store allows a 50 mile radius! But even in that 50 miles there are over 25 different grocery stores per my search on Google maps. I printed out the entire list from Google for my binder, too, in case there is a question. (We are outside of DFW TX). I view all ads online.
But here is the best part, 4 of the grocery stores on the list are primarily targeted towards Hispanic consumers and they have GREAT prices on produce and meat.
Also, there are 2 farmers-market style grocers (Sprouts & Sunflower) that also have wonderful produce loss leaders AND both of these stores’ ads run for 8 DAYS so that 2 ads are valid every Wednesday!

Hi, I’m new to this and am wondering about pming the meat. I didn’t know you could do that. Does it need to be a certain name brand or are they all the same? Thanks:-)
If the meat is name brand then it must be matched to name brand. If it is store packaged then it must be same cut. Hope that helps!
Could you explain how the match works for the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream on sale at Publix? I tried doing the math but was unable to come up with the same price you did. (Wish I’d seen this before I went to Wal-Mart today! I bought two pints of ice cream!!) By the way, thanks for the matchups!! Note to others: If you Like Ben and Jerry’s on Face.book, you can get a coupon for $1 off 2 pints (can print it twice).

i heard that walmart will even price match coupons to a dollar, now i heard this from a lady in Wilcox, AZ, I also live in AZ but i never heard of this. now is this true and also can i price match from other states grocery stores, because at my walmart i dont need an ad
I have not heard the part about PM Competitor Coupons for amounts off, that may be her manager’s decision. NO, you can’t price match from stores that are not your store’s competitors.

I live in South Georgia, and the only stores around me are Walmart (of course,) Publix, Walgreens, Cvs and Harveys. Now they have a Krogers in Waycross Georgia which is about an hour and half away. Can i price match their ad to at Walmart? what’s the rules and limits to it? I wish i could price match all these to my Walmart. i just live in a small city (valdosta) where we don’t have ANYTHING!
That is the call of your store manager. I doubt they will let you match that far away, but it is worth asking.

I price matched Walgreens ad for chex mix,bugles,and gardettoes-for 99 cents -my walmart doubles coupons up to 60 cents -So i got $15 in snacks free for my kids lunches-also they have Dawn dish soap for 99cents and I got 2 of those for free
