i got the free bottles from Albertsons last week. Never had it before either. I got both the diet and reg and the diet is pretty sweet. Not as good as Squirt more sugary tasting.

WOW!!! Has Sun-Drop finally gone nation wide. I live about an hour northwest of St Louis. It has been only available in a small area (we can’t even find it the closer to St. Louis we get) for the last 20+ years. My husband and kids like it. We usually take it with us on vacatons because it has never been available outside of where we live. It is a Pepsi product similar to Mt. Dew.
Everyone i grew up with loves it…i do not. It also, does not taste like mtn dew. I think mtn dew, mellow yellow, sundrop, and squirt fall in that category of you only like one of them. LOL

It doesn’t taste like Mountain Dew at all! It is fantastic.. It is a southern delicacy. I live here in NC, home of Sun Drop! It is very sweet, but worth trying.. and if you ever get Cherry Sun Drop your way.. try it!
I’m in North Texas and I seen it in Kroger and Target lately!
I am so excited that it seems they have gone nationwide. I was only able to get in the South.. I love and used to have friends bring me some when they would travel to Indiana. I think it kinda tastes like a mix of Mt Dew and Sprite.
