Quick question. The closest Toys R Us to me is 65 miles away. I do get their ads through the mail Can I still price Match although the store is very far way or it does not matter as long as you have the ad? Thanks in advance.

It is totally up to your manager who they are going to price match. Some price match in a 3 mile radius and some do a 50 mile. I would call your store and ask.

Our ad here in the KC star is also $2.49. Walmart everyday low price is $2.48. BUT Toys R Us is priced @ $1.99=)
COULD YOU TELL ME HOW THIS WILL WORK,A CASHIER TOLD ME THAT WHEN IT SHOWS A PRICE WITH A COUPON IT CAN’T BE AD MATCHED,BECAUSE THEY CAN’T SCAN THE COUPON FOR ANOTHER STORE SO IT CAN’T BE DONE.I WOULD LIKE SOME INPUT FROM YOU PAUL.
First, stop yelling at me 🙂 They never scan a coupon from another store. IT is considered a price match. Print the walmart coupon policy and take it with ou, it says in the policy:
Competitors’ coupons
A specific item for a specified price, for example, $2.99
Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons for items with a specified price
Have a valid expiration date
Are acceptable in black and white
So in the example in the post above you are getting the Hershey candy for $1.99. They are not scanning the coupon, but rather they are overriding the price and giving it to you as if you are buying it at Walgreens. Because this is basically a price match that is why you can use an additional coupon on top of that.
I went to walmart last night and my walmart told me that you don’t even have to have an ad that you just tell them and if its a big price difference then they would call that store.
