Ok this is the time that you will need to be looking through ALL the ads that you get!
Pull out those Staples ads, Office Max and Office Depot. Start looking for the specials on school supplies and same some serious money this year!
WOW! Do NOT miss this deal…
Sharpie markers for only $1. You will need to look for the 12 ct box at Walmart and they should price match it for only $1. They are currently $7.97 at my store for the 12ct box.
This is where in Walmart’s coupon policy they say that they will accept competitors coupons.
as far that i know walmart does not accept competitors coupons. i have called 3 stores managers and showed the coupon policy and they say NO COMPETITORS COUPONS. I have very dissapointed with walmart.
Walmart DOES accept competitors coupon as stated in their coupon policy:
Competitors’ coupons –
A specific item for a specified price, for example, $2.99
Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons for items with a specified price
Have a valid expiration date
Are acceptable in black and white
Hi Paul,
I also had trouble getting my walmart to price match the office max price for sharpies. Should I try again and show them a copy of “their” policy? Also, I had another question…. if they except competitor’s coupons does that mean they would also take target web coupons (that could be stacked with a manu coupon for a really great deal)?
Thanks for your help!
That’s a good question, but no they wont take the Target web coupons unless they were for a specific price. So for example, if a Target coupon said, “50% off Clorox” they would not take it. But if it said “$.50 for Clorox 12oz.” they would take it. The coupons HAS to tell them how much the item is.
My Walmart would not allow it either, I had the coupon and I spoke with store manager and told them it was in their store policy. They told me Office Max was not their competition so therefore they would not allow it. I argued but they kept insisting Office Max was not their competition so I was not allowed to do it.
mine won’t do it either. I tried to get them to match the coupon ad for walgreens.
http://corporate.walmart.com/coupon-policy – I didn’t have this with me the last time, but I bet I correct them on it next.
