my walmart won’t let me use the Breathe Right Save $1.50/1 coupon on the $.97 item 🙁 the cashier called the supervisor and she said i can’t use it on the trial size. i told her the coupon says 12 ct or smaller but she said you have to get the box that is 12ct or smaller and not the trial size… well, i just told the cashier to cancel the item as i won’t be buying them anymore… i don’t wanna argue coz there are people behind me…
1-800-walmart. They are there 7 days/wk but they are probably closed by now.
I have been known to have the transaction voided and continue the discussion with the supervisor in the customer service area!
I wish I was as brave and coupon-bold as you … Lol Sometimes I would really like to give Walmart a piece of my mind …
me too, Walmart gives me a hard time everysingle time I go there.
I know…the cashiers are not up on their own policies. I was buying a few razor’s w/a q that gave $.03 overage & she told me I had to buy a different one. I indicated that the q stated “ANY” & produced the q policy I had w/me w/the line highlighting I get the overage back. She pushed the q through & I got my product. I do wonder if she will prevent other’s from getting their deals…or if she learned. I was very kind & appreciative to her…just to be on the safe side…
I had this problem tonight and the cashier refused to honor the Schick coupon because the picture didn’t match the packaging. So frustrating!
I had an incident yesterday with a Walmart CSM. I bought 16 fiber choice sticks @ $1.94 ea an used 8 $5/2 benefiber products. I bought several other items in this purchase an intended the overage to cover this, well they were not scanning an without word the cashier went to get help on why not. 5 mins later she returns with CSM in tow. She proceeds with scanning an tells me that it states “not found”. So she tells me they can not take it b/c it says fiber choice an NOT benefiber. I let her know that it is a benefiber product, an that I had no problems using them the week prior. So the CSM leaves for like 10 mins. She again returns telling that “pharmacy did say it was a benefiber product but that they would only give me $3.88 off an not the $5 as indicated on the Q. I told her NO! My Q states $5 nothing less. LOL , she then began to read the small print intended for the retailer “stating you will be reimbursed for the lesser value, an before she continued I stopped her & told her that is Wal-mart that gets reimbursed NOT me, I get the $5. So AGAIN she leaves. Now 15 mins, oh & there is no line…..cashier turned off light. She said that she was impressed at how I was handling the CSM, I let her know I meant no disrespect but if you don’t know your coupon policy don’t just deny coupons on a whim b/c it’s easier to do so. CSM returns an states asst. mgr said to “allow the full amount”. I told her that per their coupon policy that if I did NOT price match & my coupon does not state (no cash back) I, the consumer am entitled to overage. Needless to say she could not be bothered to listen. To sum this 40 min checkout up, my total b4 coupons was $111.34 And after was $16.47… The fiber choice sticks gave me $8.96 overage. I hope this helps. If you know your right then don’t let the walk all over you. They try to make you doubt yourself, but show u know your stuff an you will be recognized as a reputable couponer.
very nice Tabatha. it is absolutely true. Half of couponing is confidence, not arrogance, but confidence!
I experienced problems with valid coupons at two different stores tonight. The first store refused to honor the $1.50 Breathe Right coupon and wanted to reduce the value. I left without making the purchase and went to another store where (of course) they didn’t have the Breathe Right strips but did have the $1.97 Schick disposable razors. The cashier in that store refused to honor the $2 coupon because the item didn’t match the picture despite the coupon stating ANY Schick disposable razors. It’s so frustrating!
Benefiber is made by Novartis while Fiber Choice is made by GSK. They are not connected. You shouldnt have been able to use those coupons.
Well pharmacy stated otherwise. 🙂
Hi! Does anyone have the upc # for the $1.00 Mars M&M Valentines. My friend went to Walmart and could only find the $3.00 ones. If I have a upc # I can call to see if they stock it and they are in another spot in the store. I would appreciate any help!
I want to use my $3.00 off iams dog or cat food at walmart. I was wondering about price matching the iams dog or cat food to walmart from Target but, if it is not in an ad how do the walmart cashier know that it is for $3.00 at target if it is not in the weekly ad? I know that walmart policy states that the customer does not have to have the ad to get the deal but I had a problem last week when I wanted to price match the scrubbing bubbles step and spray from family dollar for $4 and use my $4 off coupon. I am glad that I printed off the ad myself and took it to walmart with me because the cashier did not have the ad and the CSM was not going to let me price match because he didnt have the ad either. I showed them my ad and they let me have it, finally.
If it isn’t in the ad you can’t price match it. sorry
I found out recently that the Walmart closest to me is still using an older computer system and it won’t scan the newer coupon barcodes. The cashier points out the posting showing they won’t take a coupon unless it scans. (hung above the register).
I got around this by going to the newer store in town, less than 5 years old and they have the up-to-date register system that scans newer barcodes on coupons.
Walmart has been looking over my coupons with a fine-toothed comb! I feel bad for people behind me.
anyone finding the schick razors? my store keeps saying they are out at the warehouse for a while now over a month !
I had an issue yesterday with the .50 off any ortega products, the picture showed box ortega products and thats what they kept going off of. I told them they have to go by the wording not the picture but they wouldn’t take them
I am new to this site. Our Wal-mart has a self serve counter and I find that that is way easier than dealing with cashiers.
